Interestingly the part on my MRC isn't to short. It's a miracle.

Unintentional errors often creep in when we are arranging parts on their pages.

True, but I'm picky. <G>

It could turn out, that parts 43 and 44 will cover that problem of 0,7mm by overlaping a bit at exactly this location. Let's see.

It is less obvious now that the two shield parts are on, but a new misfit (mine more than yours) showed up between the forward end of the atarboard wing and the shield below it.

I blame the weather. <G>

It could be that in 15mm scale the use of 160 g cardbord leads into some fitting problems at the end.

That's always the case when scaling down, and it is part of the problem. The very dry 35 C weather the last day or two also affect not only the glue and the paper, but me as well, and my work hasn't been that good. :-/

No glue was applied today, but I spent some time bringing the AutoCAD 3D model up to date:

Markus, you'll find a very large, cleaned-up version in your e-mail inbox.

Not a lot was done today, just the little control box on the starboard side:

And the starboard exit, installed after this photo was taken:

Note the doubled door and control pad. I didn't glaze the windows since there's no interior to show off, but I cut the windows' images out and inset them a bit.

Here's the inside showing the inset windows glued in place:

I don't seem to be getting any better at touching up the edges. <G>

Edit: I just installed the port exit. No photo, but it did turn out somewhat prettier than the starboard one. :-)

That build is very cute. I like it and I know that the photos are always worse than reality because every mistake or unclean part is so big.
The real model is always nicer to look at.
And I like the detailed lineart pictures You made. Very fine work.

Do You take a break in building at the moment?

Yes, there's been a lot going on here. I hope to get some more done this week. Tonight we had our monthly games night early so a friend who is visiting from Pennsylvania could join us, and the friend who commissioned the 'Nautilus' build was also here and took it home with him, very happy. :-)

And, of course, my wife decided to have a garage sale today, so I've spent the week preparing for that. We had fun, made only a little money, but at least we got rid of some things we didn't want anymore.

Maybe this week I can get some building done.
